Duanyame' story

Duanyame began in Assin Jakai, a small village in Ghana. 

There, our founder, Dr. Bismark Appiah, watched his grandmother gather leaves and roots from the forest. She turned them into remedies that brought healing, comfort and care to her community.

Bismark’s mother continued the tradition, selling herbal remedies that healed neighbors and helped support her children's education. Through her, healing became both heritage and hope.

Years later, while studying molecular medicine in Germany, Bismark noticed how poorly global medical research reflected Africa’s people and herbal healing heritage. Yet Africa holds unmatched botanical richness and centuries of proven traditional medicine.

From that realization, Duanyame was born - a fusion of ancestral wisdom and modern science.
